For those of you who don’t already know, I am in India, have bought a vintage motorcycle, and am driving it 10,000 miles to Spain …but that’s not the meaning of this post, please read on.
If you like the idea of my crazy transcontinental moto adventure and want to show your support, here is how you can do it. You can help me reach my goal to raise money for charities. Sure, its quite east actually. Just click on the orange DONATE button. Then, you can chose which cause you want to donate to (Human Rights, Save Mother Earth, etc.), by selecting clicking the “TEAMS” dropdown. Then just fill in your info. The whole process only takes about two minutes. You will get an email confirmation also, you can give this to your accountant for the tax deduction.
As for whether it is safe to give your credit card info…the platform I am using to raise money (crowdrise.com), has been around for a while and is a well-recognized company. They have been praised and featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, and USA Today just to name a few. They have already processed almost half a billion dollars in donations from fundraisers like mine.
